Introduction
Welcome to Card Scorer — a free tool for tracking card game scores.
This document explains what data is collected when you use the app, how it is stored, and how it is protected.
Data We Collect
Player names: Names entered before starting a game are saved as part of the game session.
Score data: Round results and timestamps are stored on our servers.
Game code: A unique 6-character code that allows sharing the game session.
Recent game history: Player names and game codes from recent sessions are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and are never sent to our servers.
How Data Is Stored
Game session data is stored on Upstash Redis servers and automatically deleted after 24 hours.
Local game history stays in your browser only and is cleared when you clear site data.
No personally identifiable data beyond entered player names is stored.
Third-Party Processors
Vercel Inc. — hosts the application and may log IP addresses for security and maintenance.
Upstash Inc. — stores game session data on servers located in the United States.

Your data is never sold, shared, or used for any commercial purpose.

This app does not use cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics.
No analytics tools, advertising pixels, or cross-site tracking are used.
